Lee Alexander McQueen

He is also known for having worked as Chief Designer at Givenchy from 1996 to 2001 and for founding his own label under the name Alexander McQueen. 

He had earned four British Designer of the year awards as well as the CFDA's International Designer of the Year award in 2003, in appreciation of his achievements. He was born on 17th March 1969 in Lewisham, London. His list of clients included Mikhail Gorbachev and Prince Charles. 

He became the first designer to participate in MAC's promotion of cosmetic releases created by fashion designers. He had boutiques in London, New York, Los Angeles, Milan and Las Vegas.  He hanged himself and died on 11th February, 2010 due to anxiety and depression in his life.
